First bicycle #cycling

Wow, first bike?

It doesn’t look like a bike daddy…

Nooooo! Not a bike daddy!

OK, maybe daddy can do better, maybe the trike will be a hit?

Which present from his grandparents did he go to first?
Yep, he went to torture the little people from blokland.

Hopefully some trike photos later today, but as we’ve had thunder and lightening this morning who knows what freakish weather will stop us.

Though he may look spoilt, the trike and bloks are second hand, in fact, most of his toys are. No, I’m not tight, I’m sure he’ll appreciate a nice bike when he is older so I’m saving now, that or it’ll pay for a term in university… nice bike it is then!

Odd time of year to dig the garden, but weather stayed nice #gardening

An unseasonably warm winter here at the moment, so I spent a few hours in the garden today:

Of course there’s a lot more I want to do with it before I plant it in March, but it’s a good start.

The bike that glows #cycling

So there I was, wondering the high street, when I saw an oddly decorated bike locked almost up hanging in the air. Interesting I thought, I’ll snap that, so I did. Look how it turned out:

Hope you like it.

Here’s an updated daytime photo

Tim's cycling blog

Thankfully I cleaned them up before packing them away last winter, the winter tyres are out and ready for it. I’ve had to take the SKS mudguards off because the Thorn Raven Sport Tour doesn’t give them the right clearance.

They are 26″ x 1.75″ Schwalbe Marathon Winter tyres. Well worth the money if you want to cycle when it is icy.
